The District follows the procedures below to share the most up-to-date information regarding school closures, delays, and cancellations.

  • Phone calls, text, and email via ParentSquare

  • Bus routes: We work with our transportation team to determine whether buses can safely operate on their regular routes.

  • Learning impact: While safety comes first, we also try to limit disruptions to instruction whenever possible.

  • Keep contact information up to date: Make sure your phone number and email address are current in your Genesis account.

  • Talk with your child: Discuss your family’s plan in case of a school delay or closure.
