DISTRICT GOALS 2024/2025

Goal #1: Expanding Support to Promote Inclusivity to Meet the Diverse Needs of Our Students

Action Steps:

  • Develop and implement a process for regular data review to monitor student progress, identify areas needing additional support, and use data-driven insights to inform decisions and address diverse needs.

  • Adopt and integrate new curricular and assessment tools that support multilingual learners and accommodate various learning needs, while continuously evaluating and enhancing current programs for inclusivity.

  • Enhance support systems by creating and refining flexible mechanisms to ensure equitable access to coursework, resources, and opportunities for students with diverse educational backgrounds.

  • Establish and expand inclusive programs and practices that foster engagement and collaboration among all students, including those with varying abilities, through tailored instructional support and inclusive activities.

  • Advance professional development and program review by providing targeted training on best practices for inclusivity and regularly reviewing and updating existing programs to ensure they meet the diverse needs of students effectively.

Goal #2: Strengthen Our District-wide Climate and Culture for Students and Staff

Action Steps:

  • Utilize data to inform initiatives by establishing a committee to review survey results, such as the Panorama Survey, and plan new initiatives to support growth in identified areas.

  • Implement and enhance programs that support positive behavior and academic success by continuing and expanding programs like PBIS and promoting student achievement across all academic areas.

  • Increase parent and community engagement through various events and activities that foster strong school-community relationships and support student learning.

  • Promote student engagement and recognize achievements by developing strategies to involve students in their own learning progress and celebrate their successes.

  • Provide high-quality professional development and support for staff by offering opportunities for personalized learning, staff wellness, and collaborative professional growth.

Goal #3: Enhance Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Across the District

Action Steps:

  • Improve communication channels and tools by exploring and implementing various methods to share information with stakeholders, including digital platforms and physical signage.

  • Strengthen community partnerships and engagement by developing and expanding collaborations with local organizations and offering programs that connect the district with the wider community.

  • Support professional and community development by providing opportunities for families and staff to engage in learning and development, including technology workshops, open houses, and forums.

  • Facilitate collaboration and input across the district by promoting vertical articulation among teachers and creating forums and advisory committees to gather feedback and ideas from parents and other stakeholders.
