What is ParentSquare?

Dover Public Schools will now be using a new communication tool called ParentSquare.   This new tool will replace SchoolMessenger for all school and district-wide communications.

All unregistered Dover families will receive an invitation via text or email to register their account with ParentSquare. You can also self-register at any time through the ParentSquare app or website using the email address or cell phone you have on file with the school. 

It is very important that you accept the invitation or register your account, and download the app to ensure you continue to receive all of the important information from your child’s school.

What Can You Expect with ParentSquare:

• Receive messages from the school via phone, email, text or app notification
• Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 p.m.
• Communicate in your preferred language
• Comment on school postings to engage with your school community

What Type of Communication Can I Expect?

• News and reminders from the district or school
• Urgent alerts such as school cancellations, early dismissal or delayed start
• Weekly School updates and Newsletters
