The Business Office is proud to support the mission of Dover Public Schools by "working together as a community... to welcome all and provide opportunities for our students in a safe and accepting learning environment to become creative, empathetic, resilient, and who choose to make an impact.”
The primary function of the Business Office is to ensure fiscally responsible management of District resources while providing a safe and well-maintained environment to students and staff that is conducive to learning.
All operational aspects under the purview of the Business Administrator are conducted with strict adherence to the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as all applicable laws and regulations as set forth by the New Jersey Administrative Code and Statutes governing school finance, purchasing, facilities, transportation, risk insurance management, and food service.
Our team provides oversight to these areas and strives to support the Superintendent and District staff in providing the best possible educational programs and services for the students of Dover.
