BOARD GOALS 2025-2026
Board Goal 1: Advance Student Achievement Through Data-Driven Decision Making
The Board will review student achievement benchmark data at least 3 times per school year at the beginning, middle and end, to guide informed decision-making in an effort to ensure equitable learning outcomes aligned with district goals.
Board Goal 2: Strengthen Board Governance Through Targeted Training
By June 2026, 100% of board members will complete at least two NJSBA training opportunities (including at least one focused on finance or student achievement), and the full board will participate in a minimum of two collective training sessions—one by January and one by May 2026. The board will work towards Master Board Certification.
Board Goal 3: Enhance Community Engagement and Communication
The Board will engage with the community at each of the five schools, coordinating with PTAs when possible. Feedback will be collected and used to improve transparency, accessibility, and responsiveness.
Board Goal 4: Ensure Accountability on Progress Towards Board Goals
The Governance Committee will monitor and report progress on board goal on a quarterly basis. (1st Qtr – Feb 2026; 2nd Qtr – April 2026; 3rd Qtr – June 2026; 4th Qtr – August 2026)
