Grad Testing Requirement
NJDOE Graduation Testing Requirements
New Jersey high school students must meet specific testing criteria to graduate. There are three pathways to fulfill these requirements:
First Pathway:
- Achieve a score of 725 or higher on the NJGPA in both English Language Arts and Mathematics.
Second Pathway:
- Take the NJGPA and achieve specified scores on approved substitute tests like the ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer.
Third Pathway:
- Complete the NJDOE Portfolio Appeal process for ELA and Mathematics.
